Juicy Mountain Sunset

Juicy Mountain Terms & Conditions

Please find below our terms and conditions for joining us on any of our retreats. Please read them carefully and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Our Positive Attitude Policy

We do everything we can to make your retreat experience a positive one. Living on nothing but fresh juice for 7 days can have its challenges and small things, like bad weather and going through a detox, can effect people negatively. By mid week the vast majority of people have got through any ‘detox’ symptoms and begin to feel the benefits of a juicing detox. Clearly this is an unusual ‘holiday’ and it will have its challenges at times. If you arrive with an open and positive mind the experience will be an enjoyable one.

Juice Master Retreat Cancellation/Refund Policy

Juice Master Ltd highly recommends trip cancellation and personal insurance for all clients. This must be bought independently as it is not included in the retreat price. If for whatever reason you need to cancel your retreat place after you have booked with us, the following refund policy will apply:
If you would like to change your booking week more than 59 days before the start date of your booked week, this may be possible, however this will incur a £100 administration charge per booking plus any difference in the rate of the new room booking (if applicable). If you are looking to change weeks less than 60 days before the start date of your booked week, the above cancellation policy will apply.

All final retreat payments are due 42-days prior to the start date of the booked retreat, unless otherwise specified. Clients whose balances are not received by the 42-day deadline, risk forfeiting their retreat booking. We will try and contact you via email and telephone, but if after 7 days we have not received any written communication from you and the balance payment has still not been received by this stage, your booking will be cancelled and any deposits and instalments paid will not be refunded.

Our Right To Refuse Or Cancel Your Booking

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your booking (or any accompanying guests) or ask you (or any accompanying guests) to leave the retreat if we deem your actions or behaviour unacceptable or offensive to others. This includes, but is not limited to; being intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, abusive, threatening, racist or inciting acts of violence either verbally, written or in person. We will not tolerate bullying, racism or verbal or physical abuse to other guests or our team.  If we receive multiple written or verbal complaints from other guests or our team about your language or behaviour, our retreat team have the right to warn you that any further incidents will result in us requesting you to leave the retreat. No refund will be issued for the remaining retreat stay. Our team will assist you in arranging a transfer.

Making and Confirming Your Booking

Rooms are limited on our beautiful retreats and there are many possible room configurations. If in the very unlikely event the place has been double booked we can offer to move you to another week or refund the full amount. On receiving the confirmation email from our team, there will be full details of flight options, times to arrive and check out times provided. Please do not book your flight until your booking is confirmed.

Offers may also expire and change, which is why it’s important to book as soon as you can.

Your booking contract for the Retreat (not including flights or transfers unless booked with us) is with Juice Master Ltd, Thorneloe House, 25 Barbourne Road, Worcester, WR1 1RU, United Kingdom. For each booking made, the confirmation correspondence will be sent to you. You are required to complete and return the disclaimer on this correspondence in order for your booking to be classed as a valid contract. Failure to do so, will result in a risk of the booking being forfeited.

Once you have email confirmation of your booking you have a further 24hrs to cancel your booking and obtain a full refund. After this period our usual terms and conditions will apply.

As of January 2023, the Turkish government introduced a 2% accommodation tax, this equates to between £12 - £25 per person per week depending on which accommodation option you book and is payable at the retreat.

Accommodation Tax

As of January 2023, the Turkish government introduced a 2% accommodation tax, this equates to between £12 - £25 per person per week depending on which accommodation option clients book and is payable at the retreat. This year (season 2024), Juice Master Ltd are settling the Accommodation Tax payments for all guests booked with us.

Checking In & Checking Out

On Saturday check-in is from 16:30hrs and we kindly ask that guests vacate their accommodation by 1200hrs and leave the retreat by 14.00hrs. This allows the team just enough time to get the rooms and retreat clean and ready for the arriving guests. If guests have a flask and would like a take away juice, then this can be arranged. The village of Gocek is beautiful and full of wonderful cafes serving fresh food, so if guests are on later flights they can enjoy some time in the village and a healthy meal before the onward journey.

Team Members & Classes

In the event of one of the team members becoming injured, ill or any emergency situation that forces them to leave the retreat, then this may impact on the retreat plan, in terms of the yoga or fitness classes or manager talks being cancelled. We will do whatever we can to adapt to the situation and reduce the impact this may have on your retreat experience, however we may not be able to get a substitute team member out. The retreat will continue to run however things will be adjusted to reflect the team situation. There will be no refunds or compensation to reflect the change in team situation.

If The Retreat Has To Close For Any Reason

If the retreat has to close for whatever reason we will inform you as soon as possible and we will hold all funds paid as a credit to be redeemed against a future retreat booking with us within 12 months of the retreat closure. Juicy Mountain will not pay for any loss with flights or other costs associated with travel to the retreat that may be lost as a result of the retreat closing.

Flights, Transfers & Visas

Flights must be booked independently although Juice Master representatives will be happy to advise and assist on which Travel agents to use (usually recommended by other client referrals or personal experience). Juice Master Ltd cannot be held liable for providing any referral details of Travel Agents should any problems arise. It is the client’s responsibility to decide on making an informed decision of where to book flights from.

Juice Master Limited use a specialist Independent 3rd Party Travel Agent in Turkey to source standard transfers from Dalaman airport to the resort and back.  It is with a group we have trusted and worked with for some time now. The transfer team know what is required for our Retreats and offer reasonable rates via Juice Master Limited. Speak to the team when the booking is being made if looking to add the transfers to your booking.  Clients who book transfers independently will need to take full responsibility for their travel. As a word of warning many transfer companies do not know where the Juicy Mountain retreat is located as is in a remote area, and people arriving on independent transfers often get lost and charged more for the journey.

We book and organise the transfers for 98% of our guests and this means we can offer them at a reduced rate. Transfers booked with us must be made prior to arriving at the Retreat. Our transfer agents will arrange to meet you at the airport and transfer you to/from the retreat to the airport at the start and end of your stay too. The transfer can also run to and from Gocek. Once booked, you have up to 72 hours before the start date of your retreat to cancel for a full refund. After this point however, we cannot refund any cancelled transfers as these are booked and paid to a 3rd party transfer company in advance.

Since 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling for tourism or business purposes no longer need a visa to enter Turkey for visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Any non UK Citizens will still need to obtain a Visa through the usual steps. As these rules may change from time to time, please also check here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/turkey/entry-requirements for any updates before you travel to Turkey.

The official e-Visa website for Turkey is: www.evisa.gov.tr. Be wary of using unauthorised websites, as these may charge additional fees for supplying information and submitting applications. Some unauthorised websites have also issued fake e-Visas. If you have any queries regarding e-Visas call the Visa Contact Centre (on https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/feedback/ details provided by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Under the new Covid-19 travel regulations there may be procedures to follow for your journey to us such as wearing masks, supplying negative test results to the Covid-19 virus etc. Please check this with your travel agents and the Turkish Embassy prior to travelling to Turkey as rules are changing regularly.

Passport Validity

We advise all guests travelling from all countries to please consult your local government/flight provider requirements regarding passport validity and ensure you have enough time remaining on your passport prior to travel. (There have been significant changes for UK guests travelling to Europe since Brexit, so please ensure you are not caught out by these new regulations, as most travel insurers will not cover your trip for these reasons). Please don’t rely on the expiry date printed on your passport, as the expiry date on your passport may be inaccurate.  Further details may be available on the .gov website for travel and passport validity.

We are not a Silent Retreat

Juicy Mountain, although a peaceful haven in all, cannot always offer a totally quiet space. This is due to the proximity of all the guests and rooms and the retreat having just one common space. We respect that some guests will be joining us for some rest, quiet and peaceful time out. There are several spaces around the retreat where this can be found. However, we cannot guarantee the noise levels from any of the rooms being contained.  Rooms Zues and Morle are directly next to the Hub, great for Wi-Fi signal usually, however the sounds will resonate from the hub to these rooms as they are directly next door. We have no soundproofed accommodations at the retreat.

Guests will be joining us from all backgrounds and have booked to explore and experience their own journey. We will do our best to make it as much a comfortable stay for all, but we cannot guarantee containing sounds from the evening documentary viewings, the guests socialising in communal areas and for music played and talks during classes and activities.

Please note, we are not a silent retreat and although we appreciate and encourage calm and quiet times, we cannot restrict guests and evening TV viewing noise levels. For light sleepers, we would advise bringing ear plugs just in case. Or please secure accommodations in possibly quieter area’s at the time of booking.

If we have reason to believe you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and or you are abusive verbally or physically in any way to any of our team or representatives we have the right to refuse you to embark on the transfer to the retreat and you will be left at the airport. You will not be refunded for the transfer or any time missed at the retreat. You are not permitted to bring or consume alcohol or drugs at the retreat and if you are found to be under the influence of such whilst at the retreat, you will be asked to leave with immediate effect. Exclusions

All information provided on the website and any written and verbal form of correspondence is correct at the time of publication. However, due to mechanical faults, weather conditions, or what insurers call ‘Acts of God’, some amenities may be temporarily unavailable. Very occasionally, we may have to vary the advertised programme due to staff sickness or other unforeseen problems, in which case we will always try to provide an equivalent replacement. This may not always be possible. For example, if our Yoga Instructor becomes unwell on day 3 of the retreat, it is likely that it will be too short notice to find another and Yoga may well be cancelled for the whole week. This is extremely rare, but could happen. The same applies to any of the activities. Please note we rebound outside, so if the heavens open, rebounding will be cancelled. Clearly we will always do our level best to make sure all activities go ahead if possible. We would also like to point out that the Juice Master team can change at any time and although we will always endeavour to have a suitable replacement there will be no compensation for the change in team member.

Juice Master will not accept liability for:
